As part of the Forming Responsible Citizens project, Tunisian schools organise video surveys to talk about social problems and to raise awareness among youth and non-youth communities. These activities stimulate young people to carry out their project in a fun way, as they improve their knowledge of their environment, their ability to organise a project and to describe it in different forms and media.
Click on the following links to see the first video projects produced by the Tunisian schools:
- “Stop it!” is a short documentary of the club “Listen to my voice”. Here students identify the lack of dialogue as the main cause of violence, harassment and loneliness.
- “A cry to save the archaeological site of Makthar” is a multilingual and didactic report on the history, sustainability and conservation of the city’s archaeological site.
The Forming Responsible Citizens project is in partnership with Ideaborn SL, ideaborn Foundation, the Moroccan Center for Civic Education, the Social Development and Empowerment Center, the Jordanian Centre for Civic Education, the Adyan Foundation and the Lebanese National Commission for UNESCO.
It is labeled by Union for Mediterranean and financed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway& the Principality of Monaco.
