Under the framework of the Project “Forming Responsible Citizens » labeled by the UFM and coordinated by Ideaborn and implemented in Morocco and Tunisia, the Moroccan Center for Civic Education organized a teacher training workshop in Casablanca under the theme “Implementing Forming Responsible Citizens Modules Effectively” from March 24 to 26, 2017.
The meeting got together 28 teachers, administrators, teachers in training, students and CSOs leaders. The workshop featured opening remarks and presentations with a particular focus on group work activities regarding the implementation of the FRC guide and modules in the classrooms and with youth groups.
Each of the components of the workshop was followed by open discussions to highlight the importance of citizenship education, youth participation in community issues, youth violence as well as the challenges and opportunities.
