Consolidation of Peace in Colombia- ProPaz II Output III

The objective of the ProPaz II project is to strengthen the protection, promotion and guarantee of the rights of victims in truth, justice and reparation processes at the national, regional and local levels.

Result 1 aims to improve the participation conditions of the victims in the Transitional Justice processes for truth, justice and repair. 

Result 2: Improved coordination and coherence between the institutions of the SNARIV and SIVJRNR systems promote the application of truth, justice and reparation and, therefore, the protection and promotion of the rights of the victims (objective of the module). For this, it is essential that there are coordination mechanisms between the systems and civil society at the regional level and that good practices are available for the management of legal and procedural cases for their reproduction. 

Result 3 aims to make innovations and collective experiences on truth, justice, compensation for victims and non-repetition available nationally and regionally. The impact hypothesis is that the elaboration and application of dialogue and meeting formats and the associated promotion of networks and platforms will reinforce society’s commitment to the experiences, realities and needs of the victims and raise awareness about them, thus contributing to the protection of victims’ rights (the objective of the module).
