In 2014, a report identified long-term strategic priorities for EU’s cooperation with CSOs in Nigeria. It also proposed more appropriated modalities of working and funding, and a more comprehensive approach. The general objective of the Mission is to assess the progress made in electoral reforms since the 2013 elections. The mission focused its assessment on the implementation of the recommendations and took into account the assessment of the EU Heads of Missions (HoMs) on this matter. This initiative is a part of the Peace Consolidation Fund funded by the German cooperation in RDC. The feasibility study is aimed at identifying an initiative to prevent juvenile violence in disadvantaged neighbourhoods of Kinshasa by promoting socio-economic insertion and urban development. The strategy includes objectives related to the different aspects of governance: political and democratic governance, administrative governance, economic and sectorial governance as well as the fight against corruption as a transversal element.
