The project contributes to assisting the Nigerian government in advancing policy development, building capacity of selected national stakeholders and improving coordination within the migration sector at national level. In 2014, a report identified long-term strategic priorities for EU’s cooperation with CSOs in Nigeria. It also proposed more appropriated modalities of working and funding, and a more comprehensive approach. The general objective of the Mission is to assess the progress made in electoral reforms since the 2013 elections. The mission focused its assessment on the implementation of the recommendations and took into account the assessment of the EU Heads of Missions (HoMs) on this matter.
