The Burundian Government has prepared the National Strategy for Good Governance and the Fight against Corruption in 2011. The strategy includes objectives related to the different aspects of governance: political and democratic governance, administrative governance, economic and sectorial governance as well as the fight against corruption as a transversal element. Phase IV of ProFis to Support Transitional Justice in Colombia aims for entities to organize the criminal prosecution of emblematic cases in a more efficient and inclusive way, and ensure the facilitation of legal truth for the construction of Historical Memory. The objective of the project is to support the Colombian Office of the Public Prosecutor to effectively implement the Justice and Peace Law taking into account international doctrines, jurisprudence and lessons learned from comparable transitional justice processes in other countries.
