The project aims to strengthen and improve the structural environment for NSAs in Botswana. Its different components focused on issues that had a long-term effect. It also aims to strengthen the operational and financial capacity of the Non State Actors through direct support, enhancing structural dialogue between Government and NSAs. It aims to improve predictability, transparency and rationalization of Government funding for NSAs, thereby providing a more independent framework to the NSAs. The project’s purpose is that NSAs play a more active and efficient role in the development process alongside Government, having a greater impact on poverty reduction and economic diversification.

The objective of the contract is to assist the government of Botswana and the European Commission in the three phases (identification, formulation, finalization) of programming of EU’s development cooperation with Botswana. It aims to provide the Government with sufficient information to finalise in good time the identification and formulation phases of the EU support Civil Society under the 11th EDF.
